Our modern culture is fascinated with images of fetish and domination. Fashion and advertising has been using elements of fetish for years to add sexual tension to their often blasé products.
Jefferson's fetish photography began to take shape in early 2000 when he was asked to help create a portfolio of images for a Baltimore fetish boutique called "Object". His subsequent work with models and people involved with the fetish lifestyle emphasizes the personality of the people being photgraphed, not just the gear they are wearing. Bold and proud, the subjects never shrink from the unblinking eye of the camera lens. The attitude, style and personality of the subjects are key to the execution of Jefferson's photographs.
